About the event


Have you ever wanted to know how to start a fire without a lighter or how to handle a carving knife safely? We'll show you how to build a safe fire and which knife techniques are helpful.


This includes:

  • Knife knowledge & carving techniques: We learn about different types of knives and practice handles that make carving safe.

  • The art of fire-making: From gathering tinder to using a fire steel – we light a safe fire in various ways.

  • Safety first: We teach clear rules for handling fires and sharp blades to ensure the adventure remains accident-free.


Prices (excluding admission) :

Adults: 90.- CHF

Young people under 16 years of age: 45.- CHF

Children under 8 years: Free when accompanied by an adult


Materials: Provided. You are welcome to bring your own knives and steel rods.


Target group: Families with children (recommended for ages 6 and up)

Bring your own food and water bottle

The event will take place regardless of the weather. In the event of exceptionally severe weather, we will inform you by email the day before.

Clothing: Wear weather-appropriate clothing, sturdy footwear, and a rain jacket/trousers (in case of rain). For your safety, wear only long trousers and sleeves to reduce the risk of injuries from undergrowth or tick bites.
